The 2CV Alaska Challenge

Bulletin No.20

Bulletin No.20 A PARTING OF THE WAYS...
Fairbanks, Alaska. Friday 27th August 1999. MILE 5119 (8318Km) of the 2CV Alaska Challenge, from Quebec City.

We reached Fairbanks and Jose decided she'd had enough. Homesick and hamstrung it was time to go home. She booked herself on the Friday night flight down to Seattle, and thence on to London. Rob's ego was beginning to resemble an old, beat-up 2CV, what with its many dents. The lonely Englishman would now be on his own in the lonely, desolate wastes of the Arctic.

Ah ha, but Rob was no longer alone, for he had found a vulcanised companion in the shape of Jamie the Love Doll. Not only would Rob be the first man ever to drive a Citroen 2CV all the way to Prudhoe Bay, he would also be the first man ever to cross the Arctic Circle with a fully inflated sex doll at his side. Boy, that would be something to be proud of!

END.
