Rob, my grandfather’s mother was Irish.
He claimed when he was very small, she would put him in the peg-bag, on the washing line, while she was hanging out the clothes, whilst singing Danny Boy.
Apparently, she also sometimes used to throw tea over him.
She was a drinker and died young.

In the first world war, granddad was in France, leading a team of horses, pulling guns into place, in the MUD.

Natural Gas ( North Sea) prices have gone through the roof in U.K.
We get some of our electricity from France.
Now France does not have enough electricity for France.

“PARIS, December 15 (Reuters) – French electricity giant EDF (EDF.PA) announced on Wednesday that it had discovered new welding faults on the pipes of a security system at its Civaux nuclear power plant, and that he would shut down two reactors from another plant because they were using the same technology.

The setback comes as France prepares a major new construction program for a new nuclear power plant. EDF has already been plagued for several years by welding problems on its new late EPR nuclear reactor at Flamanville.

EDF, France’s largest electricity supplier, said faults had been detected near the welds on the pipes of the safety injection system circuit of the second reactor in Civaux, western France. A similar problem had already been detected in the plant’s first reactor.”

Europe is running out of energy just as it gets rather cold.

Looks like FRANCE is overtaking the U.K.
in the race to be the most covid riddled country in the whole World.
Good luck, you will need it.
Apparently we are taking the passive route, no restrictions in England
and let the devil take the hindmost.
